Vail, Minturn, Eagle-Vail, Avon and Beaver Creek, Edwards, Eagle and Gypsum, in Eagle County, Colorado. See every town.

What to include in your request

A few details up front make the first call faster and the estimate closer to the real job.

  • Your town. Vail, Minturn, Eagle-Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek, Edwards, Eagle or Gypsum. It tells Edgar which permit office and which building rules may apply.
  • The work. One or two sentences is enough: “replace the shower tile in the guest bath” or “build a covered deck off the kitchen.”
  • Photos. Wide shots of the room plus close-ups of any damage. You can attach them by text after you send the form.
  • Timing. When you would like the work done, and any dates it has to be finished around, such as a rental booking or a family visit.
  • Whether you will be in town. If the home is a second home, say when you are here and who can open the door when you are not.

What happens after you send it

Edgar reads every request himself. He calls you back to talk about the scope, the timing and any questions about permits or your HOA. If the job is a fit, he sets up a walk-through at the house to see the space, take measurements and ask how you want it to turn out. After that, you get a written estimate that spells out the work and the price before anything is scheduled.

Common questions

Can I text photos instead of filling in the form?
Yes. Text photos and a short description to (970) 471-5155, along with your name and town. Pictures help Edgar understand the job before he calls.
Do I need to be at the house for the walk-through?
Not always. If you are out of town, say so in your request and Edgar will work out access with you, whether that is a property manager, a neighbor or a time when you are back.
What does the estimate include?
A written scope of the work and the price for it. If anything changes once the job starts, Edgar calls you to explain it before going ahead.
